I usually have a flower on my hat, but recently needed a new one. Today the tutorial was posted on Arizona Mama. It’s a super simple project, check it out! I will also have another hat embellishment here tomorrow as a part of my Disney Souvenirs article.
This was a fun project to do during bedrest! There are tons of stitches you can learn on the big B blog.
I recently went on a spur of the moment trip to Disneyland. (They have a great Military Promotion going on! It says to buy it on base, but they sold the tickets to me for the promotional price at the gate.) The night before we went my cousin and I decided to make our own Disney shirts.
My shirt was based on the heartbeat of disney wallpaper at Design Disney Raoul. I think the wallpaper is amazing so I attempted to copy it on my t-shirt. I didn’t have a embroidery hoop or stencil chalk on hand- so that’s my excuse for the crooked-ness and mistakes!
I scored at our local Spirit store this morning, I got there right when they opened. I didn’t find anything big that I was looking for, but I did walk out with $150 worth of stuff. They also have Military Discount. (Good thing my son was in his costume or I wouldn’t have known!)
Here’s a sneak peak of some of the stuff I bought for next year! I’m sure I’ll forget what was in there by next year but it will be like Christmas to open up the Halloween boxes! I still have stuff from last year’s National Half-Off of Halloween Stuff Sale that I didn’t look at this year because I wasn’t carrying everything down from the attic by myself. I can’t wait for next year, it will be so much fun!
